Our theme this year is “Navigating the Future: Innovation and Access in Aquatic and Marine Science Information." Libraries face a challenging future requiring creative approaches to sustaining access to information. IAMSLIC Virtual is October 26-28th, 2026.

For full consideration, please submit your conference presentation proposal by Aug. 30th, 2026. If your presentation is accepted, we ask that you provide a paper for the 2026 IAMSLIC Conference Proceedings. Author instructions will be forthcoming upon acceptance.

This year, authors may submit to a new category, "Scholarly Peer Reviewed." The IAMSLIC proceedings editor and two associate editors will review Scholarly submissions on the basis of research merit and contribution to the field, with an aim to provide peer review for two to three manuscripts each cycle. Scholarly article approval requires the author or authors to present at the IAMSLIC virtual conference. Please see the conference website for more information. https://iamslic.wildapricot.org/conf2026

We look forward to reviewing your proposals. Thank you for your interest.
