IAMSLIC 51st Annual Conference - Woods Hole, Massachusetts, 5-10 October, 2025

Welcome to the 50th Anniversary of the International Association of Aquatic and Marine Science Libraries and Information Centers (IAMSLIC), the 51st Annual IAMSLIC Conference, and the 35th Annual SAIL Regional Meeting.

The conference will be hosted in-person and virtually by the Marine Biological Laboratory, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the SAIL Regional Group in Woods Hole, MA, USA from October 5-10, 2025.

Our theme this year is “Full Circle.” Fifty years ago, IAMSLIC was born out of a desire for marine science librarians to come together and share their knowledge. That first meeting in 1975 has grown into a vital organization that spans the globe. This is a great time to not only reflect on what we have done and where we have been but to look to the future.

Our program will feature invited guests from WHOI and the SAIL region, presentations from members of IAMSLIC from around the globe and asynchronous content that will highlight the region, climate, terrain, people and waters. We welcome presentations, activities, workshops, posters and panels that explore the vital part we play in the work we are doing, supporting and fostering. If you are interested in presenting at the conference, we invite you to submit a proposal at Call for Proposals.
